Colour sources

69 manufacturer shade codes, checked 10 September 2026. Lookup runs locally from a reviewed catalogue; your inventory is not sent to manufacturers.

Exact names, not nearest guesses

We match brand, product range, material and exact shade. Gray/Grey spelling is accepted. A generic White does not become Jade White, and PETG Basic does not use PETG HF values. Unverified brands, ranges and multicolour blends keep their existing estimate.

Your colours stay yours

Known older app-generated estimates are replaced in the displayed library, without overwriting their stored values. Unrecognised saved colours are left alone. Editing a hex or colour picker saves a custom override. Use automatic colour to return to the catalogue, or Use saved colour to restore the previous saved value shown in the editor.

Manufacturer codes describe screen swatches, not calibrated measurements. Lighting, screen settings, finish, batch and printing conditions can change how a real print looks. Updated library colours are used for matching and newly prepared exports; existing NFC tags, downloaded files and saved phone batches are not rewritten.
